[enthusiastic vintage radio voice] What’s going on!? Where’s it happening? When does it start? Introducing Any Here Now!
Any Here Now (NEHN) is a whimsical webcomic about a brilliant scientist’s comic-making adventures with the help of his fantastical pets. Jerry is a genius (so is his monkey). When he’s not in the lab, he loves to adventure into the worlds of his comics where anything is possible.
I envision the heart of this story will be playfulness, adventure, discovery, and faith. There will be a lot of light-hearted fun among Jerry and the crew, but his comics have some heavy themes confronting the harsh realities of living in a fallen world; God gives grace.
NEHN is primarily a practice comic for myself to improve my drawing and storytelling abilities. Comics are a wonderful storytelling medium and making them is an excellent way to grow.
The story will be written by the proverbial seat of my pants (meaning I don’t know where this train is going or where we get off, but I sure plan on enjoying the ride). Since the comic will have animatic elements, I will often upload pages/frames in batches.
Expect new content on Fridays by 6 pm ET unless otherwise indicated in a recent update.
